I lost my interest in Hobbies when Olivia came into our life.

I use to collect:
lenox Snowmen
Doggy and Snowmen Ornaments
Baskets

Well I was moving my Lenox collection one day and dropped them so I lost the desire after I broke over half of them.
Ornaments don't seem to have much of a meaning to me since we have a child. It seems seeing the looks in her eyes about doing things together and spending the extra money on her mean more to me now.
Who needs another basket....Olivia will just fill it up with something.

We are not movie people. Where I grew up there was only one place to go to see movies and it was 30 miles away so I never go to go often.
The last movie I went to see was Pokemon. hahaha

We tend to wait for them to come out on DVD.

My music choice is the oldies station. preferable from the 60's and 70's. I also grew up in the 70's liking soul music...don't laugh. I worked in a record shop from age 12-17 and we mostly sold soul and gospel music.
I also love gospel and some of the newer Christian music.

I haven't read a book in a very long time. Imagine how I felt recently when I laid down to read and I couldn't see the print. I love good clean romance books and I also love non fiction.

I would call my scrapbook style simple and clean most of the time. I like things a little old fashion too. I am not much for the cluttered and off the wall styles that are very popular now days.

I so wish I was talented with my hands but God did not give me that talent. Olivia at age 5 is a much better drawer than I will ever be.

I am a 45 year old stay at home Mom to a very active 5 year old. Yes I know I am an old mom but God chose us to be her parents. You see, Olivia is very special. We adopted her and have an open adoption with both of her birthparents and their families. At times it can be trying but usually I love our relationship.
Olivia's newest thing is telling people she grew in mommy's heart and in Nicole tummy....imagine the looks and stares I have been getting.
