I received my 90 Day Evaluation today.

It's official, I'm finally permanent!

Medical Insurance should start March 1st.  That will be a huge relief to our tight budget.

What do you want to hear, the good news or the bad news?

Okay, the bad news first:

DH ruined one of my Christmas presents to him, 2 days before Christmas.    He opened mail addressed to me from where I'm working.  He was worried that they were firing me.  (by mail???)  Anyway... it was my first paycheck!

I've been working for a little over 3 months now.  Can you believe it, I'm still temporary   I hope to hear some good news next week

Our new department VP starts on Monday.  It is exciting & scary at the same time.  What if she doesn't like me?   I expect things will remain the same for a little while.  We still need to hire 2 more people, in order for our department to be fully staffed.

Today, I finally posted the 3rd Quarter data at work.  Today was the last day to submit.  I had to stay late to finish, but at least I didn't have to stay until midnight

My next big project is the 3rd Quarter PowerPoint presentation.  The meeting was pushed back, because of the data submission.  This project will be a piece of cake

After that, I need to catch up with all my October work, which has piled up in my inbox

Here's an update on DH's situation.

HD officially has an x-boss.  It's been about 5 weeks since DH resigned.  DH's lawyer sent x-boss a letter, requesting monies owed to be paid.  We haven't heard a word from x-boss or his lawyer.  We know x-boss received letter.  Next step is a lawsuit.

DH is actively seeking work, but it is slow going.  There are several things on the burner, so it looks hopeful.
