Is anyone else into Going Green Recycling things into art or altered items/crafts?  I have been tinkering with this lately.  I have done a few Dog Treat Holders that I made from parts of Cereal Boxes, a few magazine holders made from cereal boxes, and an office sign that says TGIF on one side and Monday Again on the other that you can flip for the appropriate day - made from cereal boxes and old pants hangers.  The Office sign is on my blog...scroll down/thru pages tho...still have to post the others because they were just featured in ReadySetCreate.

I have saved so much to go green... but finally give away or donate to places.... I have about 50 pringle cans and didn't know what to do with them.... My gf just gave me a note saying that her church is looking for them to send things over to the troops in... They are light and will protect things in them from getting squished.  I'll save a few for my teens to put the ink pens in... Much nicer than a plastic bag they are in now..

I enjoyed taking a stroll on your blog..  Thanks for sharing

Hugs, Kath

I save my coffee cans all year and then decorate them up to put cookies in for Christmas gifts, and this year I saved all of my Crystal light containers to use for "snowman soup".   OH!  and this one  was fun too---- (with the help of hubby) I tore apart an old box spring from  my daughters old bed and used the springs to make snowmen.

omg, that is so cute! But I have one suggestion! It would be MUCH cuter if you got rid of that Steelers hat and replaced it with a BROWNS hat!
