I show the window treatment in my earlier blog post LINK TO BATHROOM REMODEL and have a simple explanation on how I did it -- NO SEW!!!


I find that there is a limited amount of styles and colors offered in ready made drapes, and an incredible variety of table runners.  I just slit the backside at the lining and slipped them on the rods.  You could hem the opening and should if you're ever going to wash them so they don't ravel, but these are silk so they'll be going to the dry cleaners anyway.  You can use iron on hemming tape to finish the opening.
